Four different staircases access the home, with a 32-foot wide main entry.
Within the 25-ft by 25-ft main entry vestibule, a 30-foot high ceiling soars overhead, crowned with a vaulted skylight.
Ceilings of the general rooms within Villa Taj are 13-feet in height. The Ballroom has a ceiling height of 38 feet.
Villa Taj is located on a 4.5-acre private lot.
Villa Taj features a total of five Master Bedroom suites plus one Imperial Bedroom suite, over 2,500 square feet in size. All Master suites feature substantial bathrooms, walk-in closets with carved natural wood detailing, fireplace, and handcrafted ornamental doors. Bathrooms are finished from floor to ceiling in gold Jerusalem stone, and feature rainshowers as well as Jacuzzi tubs—with the ability to convert to a private steam room.
Living and entertaining areas on the main floor include a Formal Living Room, Conservatory, Library, Cigar Room, Wine Cellar, Dining Lounge, Formal Dining Room, Grand Kitchen and Family Entertainment Room—all of which surround a spectacular central Ballroom—over 2,400 square feet in size—with decorative finishes of bordering columns and gold-leaf ornamental wall detailing.
Contained within the lower level is a spacious Game Room with full bar, as well as a Theatre, and a room sized to convert into a two-lane Bowling room. A heated, 20-car garage is also located on this level, complete with a space for detailing your automotive collection. Additionally, Service quarters are located on the lower level.
The exterior walls of Villa Taj are 14 inches thick. All floors are finished with select either Brazilian wood, Cherry wood, Italian marble, or gold Jerusalem limestone.
All windows have been custom framed on site, with custom double-pane Pelle installations.
The foundation of Villa Taj is over two feet in depth, over the natural bedrock foundation. The two main supporting walls are 12 inches wide, and 12 feet high from the supporting foundation and bedrock. Terraces were set with pre-cast concrete. All of the walls surrounding the house are finished with five layers of limestone. Interior floors have all been set with poured concrete, reinforced with steel, to fully support the stone flooring. All interior walls are 2x4 installations, covered with drywall.
Voltage for Villa Taj is a remarkable 800 volts. Villa Taj features six H-Vac units, at 5 tons each Water flows directly from the main, and is fully pressurized to provide uniform and full pressure to all outlets in the home.
